THE COACHING LEADER FOR ORGANISATIONS

Your managers and supervisors can assess competence.
Can they build it?

The Coaching Leader is a twenty hour structured CPD programme in coaching skills, built for managers and T&C supervisors in FCA regulated firms and taught entirely through real workplace examples from financial services.

This course is submitted for CPD accreditation.

WHAT CHANGES WHEN MANAGERS COACH

Advisers who think, not just comply

Compliance follows the script. Judgement handles the customer the script did not anticipate. A team that has been coached reasons about the situation in front of them, which is exactly what good outcomes require when circumstances are unusual, and customers' circumstances are frequently unusual.

Competence that is built, not only measured

Your supervisors already assess well. Coaching skills give them the other half: a repeatable way to move somebody from where they are to where they need to be, and an observation debrief that produces development rather than a signature.

Truth that travels upwards

Firms find out about problems either early and cheaply, or late and expensively. Which one depends on whether people feel able to speak. A full module is spent on why psychological safety is a conduct issue rather than a wellbeing one, and on how a manager builds it deliberately.

Culture you can evidence

Every learner finishes with a portfolio of real, dated, logged developmental conversations in their own words. That is inspectable in a way a policy is not.

A leadership team that sounds the same

Ten managers coaching the same way is an organisational capability. That is what a cohort buys.

WHO BUILT IT

Kaidi Bowen spent over twenty years in UK retail banking with Abbey National, Abbey and Santander, in every role from CeMAP qualified mortgage adviser to multi branch manager, including time as a Training and Competence supervisor and two years as regional training champion rolling out regulatory updates.

She was Bank Manager of the Year. Before banking, two years at Frizzell Financial Services as a limited underwriter for Lloyd's of London.

She is an ICF Professional Certified Coach and Co-Active Certified Professional Coach with over 2,600 documented coaching hours, and mentors coaches working towards their ACC and PCC. S

he holds ILM Level 3 Coaching in the Workplace and a separate ILM Mentor Credential, alongside CeMAP, Cert CII and R05.

She is also the creator of the PATH model.

The relevance is simple. This is not coaching theory adapted for financial services. It was built by somebody who held the supervisory role, sold regulated products, and learned coaching afterwards because the way she was leading had stopped working.
