You've probably tried to "fix" your leadership challenges before. New role, new company, new story or strategy. And yet somehow, the same patterns keep showing up. You're working harder than ever but still feel like you're not where you should be. I know that feeling intimately.
A Bit About Me

MY STORY
By 21, I was managing a 70-bedroom hotel with 48 staff, making more money than I do now. On paper, I was crushing it. Externally, I projected ultra-confidence. In reality, I was riddled with imposter syndrome.
I was a builder's daughter who'd lived at 34 different addresses by the time I was 30. Every move, I told myself: This time will be different. This time I'll figure it out. New location, new job, fresh start. Working in pubs and hotels was the perfect opportunity to outrun my past - the chaos I thought defined me.
But the same internal voices followed me everywhere.
The voice that whispered I didn't deserve my success. I'd just been lucky. The voice that said I was incomplete because I didn't have roots. The voice masquerading as my protector but actually working against me at every turn.

THE TURNING POINT
Everything changed when I worked with a coach.
For the first time, someone helped me see that moving addresses wasn't the problem. I was trying to outrun internal patterns with external changes. My career wasn't an accident. My lack of roots wasn't a deficit. My past didn't define my worth. And my inner voices weren't protecting me, they were sabotaging me.
When I discovered Playing Big by Tara Mohr, something shifted. Unlike other leadership books that made me feel incomplete, this one gave me tangible tools to actually change. It didn't just diagnose the problem, it showed me new tools and ideas to transform it.

THE INNER WORK THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
I learned to quiet my imposter saboteurs and access the clarity and certainty I'd buried under years of "not good enough" I created an alter ego to step into fearless leadership (yes, like Winston Churchill did). I studied mental fitness through Positive Intelligence, learning to distinguish between my inner thoughts and my true beliefs.
Most importantly, I got clear on my values and the ripple effect I wanted to create. Not what I thought I should want. What I actually wanted.
That's when everything clicked. My self-belief shifted from external validation to internal authority. My confidence became real, not performed. And for the first time in 31 years of moving and reinventing, I stopped running. I've lived in the same house in Cornwall ever since.
THE PATTERN I SEE IN EVERY LEADER I COACH
Now, as an ICF PCC with 2,500+ coaching hours, I see this pattern constantly: capable leaders working harder instead of differently. Seeking external validation instead of building internal authority. Their inner voices masquerading as protectors while actually limiting their impact.
High achievers who look confident on the outside but feel like impostors on the inside.
Leaders who've achieved success but don't feel deserving of it.
Professionals who keep changing jobs, hoping the next role will finally feel "right."
Sound familiar?

WHY I BECAME A PLAYING BIG FACILITATOR
After 23 years as a Bank Manager managing high performing teams, risk and service, mastering leadership, including rolling out Santander's coaching culture. I founded UK Coach Training because I'd lived the transformation. I became a Playing Big Facilitator to give other leaders the same tools that changed my life.
I offer Mental Fitness coaching through Positive Intelligence because learning to quiet my saboteurs was the breakthrough that made everything else possible.
I'm an ICF Mentor & Supervisor and CPD-accredited trainer because I'm committed to the highest standards of this work.
But my real credential? I've been where you are. I know what it takes to shift from striving to thriving, from proving to leading, from external confidence to internal authority.

IF YOU'RE READY
The leaders who break through aren't the ones who work harder or move faster. They're the ones who do the inner work.
If you're ready to stop outrunning yourself and start transforming from the inside out, let's talk.
The work is deep. The tools are tangible. And you don't have to keep reinventing externally to find what you're looking for, the clarity and certainty are already inside you.

What happens in Coaching
Your Questions Answered: "What happens in the chemistry session?" "We explore where you are, where you want to be, and whether we're the right fit to work together. Chemistry matters in coaching - this session is as much about you assessing me as it is about me understanding your needs. It's a genuine conversation, not a sales pitch." [FAQ - Optional but Helpful] Common Questions How is coaching different from mentoring or consulting? Mentors give advice based on their experience. Consultants tell you what to do. Coaches help you access your own wisdom and build your capacity to solve problems independently. I don't have the answers for your life - but I'll help you find yours. Do you offer single sessions or one-off coaching? Yes, however. Transformation requires commitment. I work with clients over 3-6 months because that's how long it takes for new patterns to embed and old saboteurs to quiet down. What if I'm not sure I need a full 6 months? Start with 3 months. We can always extend if you want to go deeper. Is coaching confidential? Absolutely. I'm bound by the ICF Code of Ethics. What we discuss stays between us unless you give me explicit permission to share or there's a safeguarding issue. What happens on the chemistry call? We talk about where you are, where you want to be, and whether coaching is right for you. It's a conversation, not a sales pitch. If we're not the right fit, I'll tell you honestly. Can my organisation pay for coaching? Yes. Many of my clients expense coaching as professional development. I can provide invoices and session summaries if needed..
